DeFacto was named ‘Sustainable Retailer of the Year.’

DeFacto was awarded the ‘Sustainable Retailer of the Year’ title for the second consecutive year.

According to the company’s statement, the award was presented to DeFacto CEO İhsan Ateş and the Sustainability Team during the Global RLI Awards 2024 event in London. The award, given by Retail & Leisure International, recognizes outstanding global retail concepts.

Since 2004, DeFacto has implemented its sustainability approach across all processes, from production to supply chain, product design, and customer interaction. This vision laid the foundation for its strategic steps toward the future, including the publication of its first integrated report in 2024 and the launch of its sustainable vegan collections.

DeFacto’s 2030 goals include making 90% of its collections sustainable and reducing its carbon footprint by 55%.

By 2050, the company aims to achieve net zero carbon emissions and transition to a climate-positive framework.”
