Hello, I am İhsan Ateş. As one of the founders and the CEO of DeFacto, I am immensely proud to have been a part of this brand’s journey for so many years. Throughout my professional life, I have always believed in the power of teamwork and shared success. When DeFacto was established in 2005, our goal was to go beyond being just a fashion brand and to create a value that touches people’s lives. Today, it is a great source of pride to see us moving confidently towards this goal.

As for myself, I have always approached the business world with a deep curiosity and a passion for learning. This mindset has guided both my personal and professional development. During my years at DeFacto, I have focused on finding innovative solutions in business processes, developing a sustainable business model, and transforming our brand into a global player. What I have learned along the way has helped me gain new perspectives not only in business but in all areas of life.

DeFacto is now a brand that operates in 93 countries across 5 continents, reaching millions of people. However, this success is not just mine or the management team’s; it has been made possible by the hard work and dedication of every member of the DeFacto family. Together, we have placed sustainability, innovation, and adding value to society at the core of our business. Especially in terms of sustainability, we are taking steps with great determination to act not just for today but with the future in mind. We are working tirelessly to make our collections more environmentally friendly, transform our supply chain, and reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

Outside of work, one of the things that motivates me most is connecting with people and listening to their stories. Everyone has a story, and I believe there is much to learn from them. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have greatly enjoyed exchanging ideas with young entrepreneurs and contributing, even if just a little, to their dreams. Beyond DeFacto, we also support social responsibility projects and initiatives in education, striving to contribute to creating a fairer world.
